Getting baby high and close to your center of gravity is essential to a comfortable carry in the Onbuhimo. Ensure the panel is nice and high up their back, and make adjustments with arms out. If baby pulls their arms in after adjusting, follow their lead! To get baby highest and over your center of gravity, you’ll want to rotate your straps. Hook your thumbs under your straps at the top of your shoulder. Give a gentle bounce while lifting the straps, and maintaining tension slide your hands out and then down all the way to the webbing. Tighten any extra slack created to keep the carry at this height.
If you are asking yourself, how high? You can most likely bounce them higher!
